Father and Sons Project

New project for fathers of boys looking at how to prepare their sons with the right skills and awareness to cope with the challenges of the teenage years. Spring Clean

Support is needed to keep the area clean and tidy. There will be a meeting in Carrowmenagh at the shop car park this Saturday, April 26 at 11am. Bags and gloves will be distributed to all. If you can’t help in the cleanup, maybe you could collect the bags in your car. The group would like to see as many people as possible taking part in this clean-up that benefits the whole area.

Golden Goal

Parenting Course

Moville Family Resource Centre is putting on a course for the parents of National School children about alcohol and drugs. This course is designed for national school parents because research shows that parents can do things with their children while they are young that will help them build the confidence, self-esteem and skills to better handle the pressures they may meet around alcohol and drugs when they become adolescents.

The course is part of the Community Alcohol Project running in Moville and is being held in the Moville Day Centre, below the Moville Health Centre. To book a place please ring Mary McKinney on 074 93 85548.

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje

Serenity House Active Retirement Association are organising a five day trip to Wexford on May 25. Lotto drawCarrowmenagh FC Lotto numbers drawn on Sunday, November 4 were, 3, 10, 11, and 17. There was no jackpot winner. Winners of 20 euro were N. Ned, Templemoyle Culdaff; Elena Gill, Carrowmenagh; Michael Harkin Carn Rd Gleneely; Michael Harkin, Carn Rd Gleneely; Eliscia and Leah Quigley, Ballynally Moville. The next draw will take place in The Club House on Sunday at 10pm with a jackpot of 5,700 euro.
