A new family based water company in Burt  is about to cleanse Inishowen by selling the ‘freshest bottled water in Ireland.’The company, which sells bottled water InishOH, is a family based organisation co founded by Australian Magreth McGill.The idea to set up the company came from Magreth who had been drinking Ionised water in Australia and found that when she moved to Ireland there was no water of its kind around, “I found it very hard to find nice water, I don’t drink tap water so there was not much option for me,” she said.Magreth (50) travelled back to Australia to explore the possibilities of bringing back the processes and formulae to Inishowen.She added: “What is different about our water is that it is Alkaline Ionised meaning that it is the purest and freshest around. The water is processed with a computerised filtration system with features that can trap contaminants and allow natural dissolved minerals to pass through“We restructure our water with electro-magnetic energy, which binds oxygen molecules in the water reducing the molecular ‘cluster’ size of the water making it super-hydrating and easy to digest.“I drink two – three litres a day and I have never been to a doctor for the past two years, I am very healthy for my age and can bubble about all day, that’s what our water does.”The company is based in Burt and undergoes monthly water testing by an independent INAB accredited laboratory. Quality systems are in place to ensure every step of the process is carried out to conform to the highest standards.Magreth said: “Other water companies are running scared, they are offering people unbelievable deals but we are not trying to overtake from others.“We are a small company whose main aim is to show what a difference water can make to your health.’‘What we want is for people to drink our water to see how it can improve their health, if people try our water for two weeks then we can be sure that they wont go back to other water.Magreth also promised the water could help cure a hangover.She said: “One drink of InishOH can counteract the alcohol, you could even make ice cubes from it or by drinking the water after consuming the alcohol will help.’‘We are not trying to build a company just to get rich quick, we want to show that the right water can make a difference.“We also believe that it is important to give something back to the community so we made the decision to donate 5cents from every bottle to charity. Our accounting system will tell us how many bottles are sold and from there the charities will be chosen in line with our vision for health.’ The InishOH water is available all over Inishowen in different sized bottles ranging from 330mls to 19 litre coolers.
