Any Groups or Associations who wish to use the Asto Turf Pitch, Glencrow contact Joe Bredin for further details.The astro Turf will be available from early May. The Under Age training continues at the same times . The club has entered 2 teams in the under 12.14.16and 18 in The Inishowen League, along with under 14 girls and Ladies Team. The club will be providing football fro up to 250 children over the summer months. All new help would be welcome. The training for the for the under 18 is on Thursday’s in the Bayfield at 7.00pm,everyone from the area is welcome. This team will be under the guidance of Benny Mullan.  

The club would like to thank Eamon and Emmet McLaughlin for making the recent trip to see Glasgow Celtic play a great day.

The Book Club

The Book Club will meet in Serenity House on Tuesday 13th May at 7.30pm. The book for this month is This Distant Land of My Father by Bo Caldwell. All are welcome.

 

Serenity House Active Retirement

The Serenity House Active Retirement meeting will take place tonight Wednesday, April 23 at 7.30pm. Guest Speaker for the evening will be Billy Hazlette, Fire Officer with the HSE West, who will give a talk on Fire Safety

 

Parish Finance Council

There will be an important meeting of The Parish Finance Council on April 26 at 11am in The Parochial House when the Parish Accountant will call to explain the finances of the Parish. After this meeting a statement will be available to the people.

 

School reunion

Did you start C.C.S in 1993? Did you sit the Leaving Cert in 1998? If so, there is a ten–year reunion planned for Sunday, May 4 in The Ballyliffin Hotel. Tickets are 25 Euro for Dinner, band and disco are on sale in Value-Clean (Buncrana, Carndonagh and Moville) and Norris’ Shop Moville. Tickets should be purchased by 27th April. All proceeds to charity.

 

Gardening Club

The next meeting of the Inishowen Gardening Club will be held on Monday, April 28 in The Wesley Hall, Carndonagh at 8pm. The topic is rockery design and a talk will be given by Gordon Toner. All welcome.

 

Cancer mobilr

The Marie Keating Foundation Mobile Information Unit (Not screening) will be in the Shore Front Car Park next Friday, April 25. The following weekend Saturday, May 3 The Beauty Salon will be holding “Beauty in Pink Day”. Wine and nibbles, raffle and auction of Ronan Keating’s Hat. All proceeds will go to the above charity
