Grand Draw
Last few weeks to Grand Draw. Carrowmenagh FC have tickets out for their first Grand Draw ever. Prizes: first prize – Mitsubishi Colt; second prize – 2,000 euro cash; third prize – two nights in one of Donegal’s top hotels, Harvey’s Point, and 12other fabulous prizes. Tickets are 20 euro each or three for 50 euro. Contact John McLaughlin (Twin), Club secretary – 086 8060348 / 9381150 or any other Club or committee member. Draw takes place 4 May.
Sponsored walk
Is being organised in aid of St Luke’s Hospital, Dublin and the Day Care Unit of the Oncology Ward in Letterkenny General Hospital. The walk will take place from Culdaff to Malin Via McSheffrey’s Bridge on May 18 at 2pm. All welcome to take part. For sponsor cards Tel 074 9379166.
Alzheimer’s Tea Day
Annual tea day on Thursday 1 May. if you would like to hold a tea day in your home, work place or group, Visit www.teaday.ie to make a difference.
Teach programme
Inishowen Development Partnership is currently recruiting participants who have previously completed the Teach programme and give them the opportunity to complete Fetac Level 4 Computer Applications from the comfort of their own homes. If you are interested in participating in this exciting course then contact Tutor Sinead McDaid on 086 8216306 or 9362218. It will be the first come, first served basis.
Lotto Draw
Carrowmenagh FC Lotto numbers drawn on April were 3, 16, 19 and 20. There was no jackpot winner. Winners of 20euro were Margaret Gill, Carrowmenagh; Dan McFeely Carrowmenagh; Mick Crumlish, Mossey Glen; Ashling Gill, Clonmany; Mary McDermott Kildra.
Golden Goal Draw
The winner of the Glen Resident’s Group Golden Goal draw was Mary Crumlish on ticket number 42 with a prize of 40 euro.
Computer Classes
Computer and Digital Photography classes are on offer in the Wesley Hall on a one to one basis. For further information or to book Tel 9329680.
Caring for Elderly
If you would like more information regarding entitlements, respite support groups and other services Diane Donnelly will be holding a number of information Drop in Clinics in the Community Hospitals. Last Monday of every month, from 12-2pm and in the Carndonagh Community Hospital last Tuesday of every Month in the Buncrana Community Hospital. Any queries please contact Diane on 087 2770103.
