Golden Goal
The winner of the Glen Resident’s Group Golden Goal draw was Caithlin Crumlish on ticket number 91 with a prize of 40 euro.
Parenting Course
Moville Family Resource Centre is putting on a course for the parents of National School children about alcohol and drugs. This course is designed for national school parents because research shows that parents can do things with their children while they are young that will help them build the confidence, self-esteem and skills to better handle the pressures they may meet around alcohol and drugs when they become adolescents.
The course is part of the Community Alcohol Project running in Moville and is being held in the Moville Day Centre, below the Moville Health Centre. To book a place please ring Mary McKinney on 074 93 85548.
Coping with Depression

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje
This is a combined tour on June 7 with 4 nights in Medjugorje and 3 nights in Gradac on the Adriatic coast. Flight is from Belfast to Dubrovnik. Jobs Fair
A jobs fair will take place in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel on Wednesday, March 5, 10.30am – 6.30 pm. Employers, why not use this opportunity to find the right person for your vacancy? Employers from Inishowen, Derry and Letterkenny who are looking for staff will be there. Job-seekers, come along and see what is on offer for you. Grand Draw
Carrowmenagh FC have tickets out for their first Grand Draw ever. Prizes: first prize – Mitsubishi Colt; second prize – 2,000 euro cash; third prize – two nights in one of Donegal’s top hotels, Harvey’s Point, and twelve other fabulous prizes. Active retirement
Serenity House Active Retirement Association are organising a five day trip to Wexford on May 25. For further information contact Serenity House on 9382945, Seats will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, so book early to avoid disappointment. Also a bus is being organised to the Highland Birthday Bash which is being held in March.
Kids’ activities
A children’s Morning takes place in The Cairn Greencastle every Saturday from 11am-1pm with music, drama quiz and games. Guitar classes and young teens drama starting soon. For more information call 074 9381104.
Lotto Draw
Carrowmenagh FC Lotto numbers drawn on 3 February were 3, 12,16,18. There was no Jackpot winner. Winners of 20 euro were Carolann Thompson, Meenletterbale; Christopher and Alexander, Bredaghglen; Milleasa McDermott, Greencastle; Two Robert’s ,Gillens Shop; Claire McClenaghan, Rudden’s Shop.

Greencastle Community childcare will be holding a pre-school information evening on Wednesday, February 27 at 8pm in Greencastle Resource Centre. This is for New Children who wish to begin playschool in September 2008. Please bring the child’s immunisation dates and a deposit of 40 euro.
