Valentine’s disco
Clonmany Parents Association’s next fundraiser is a Valentine’s Golden Oldies Disco, which will take place in the Ballyliffin Hotel on Saturday, February 16 at 11pm. Admission on the night is eight euro. All proceeds from the disco will go towards the purchase of new school equipment.
Reflexology course
On Friday, February 15 there will be a one-day reflexology course presented by Martina Barrett in the Community Centre from 9.30am to 5pm. Murder-mystery night
A murder-mystery night – Dastardly Deeds at Dinner – will take place in Ballyliffin Golf Club on Friday, February 15 at 7.30pm sharp. Full evening’s entertainment with a champagne reception and a three-course dinner costing 40 euro per person. Book early to avoid disappointment. Call 074 9378111.
Ladies’ Gaelic Football
There was a meeting in the Urris Clubhouse last nigh to discuss the future of the senior ladies’ football team. Even if the Ladies team is not going ahead this year coaches are still needed to help out with the underage girls from U10 to U16. If any lady is interested in giving a hand with the underage teams they can contact either John Friel or Paul McLaughlin
Pilgrimage to Medjugorje
This is a combined tour on June 7 with four nights in Medjugorje and three nights in Gradac on the Adriatic coast. Flight is from Belfast to Dubrovnik. 25 Card Drive
The Rasheny NS 25 card drive will take place in Ballyliffin Golf Club on Friday, February 8 at 8pm. Tickets are ten euro and everyone is welcome to attend.
Resource centre
Names are now being taken at Clonmany Youth Club and Community Resource Centre for the following evening classes; Sage, Basic Computers, Patchwork-quilting, Art, Arts and crafts, and Digital Photography. If you need further details contact the Youth Club on 9376772. A fitness class for women has resumed on a Monday morning from 10am to 11.15am. All abilities catered for and the cost of the class is five euro. There is also a ladies class on a Wednesday night from 7 – 8pm and a men’s class from 8.30 –9.30pm. Admission is five euro and Gym members free.
