Fireside quiz
In aid of the Carndonagh Community Hospital Patients Comfort Fund. 2 euro per sheet. Draw will take place in the Hospital on Sunday, December 16 at 3pm. Completed sheets should be sent to G. Campbell, Moss Rd or to the seller on or before Friday December 14.
Annual bazaar
Glentogher National School annual bazaar will be held in the school on Sunday, December 16 at 2.30pm. Excellent prizes as usual. Everyone welcome.
Senior citizens’ party
Carndonagh Care of the Aged senior citizens’ party will take place in the Strand Hotel on Sunday December 16 at 6pm. If you are 60 years or over and from the Carn Parish and would like to attend Please ring 93 74291 or 93 74382 or give your name to one of the ladies on the committee,

Tel 9374104. Saturday next, December 8, is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and it is a Holy Day of Obligation, Vigil Mass on Friday at 8pm. Benediction after 8pm Mass to 10pm. Saturday Masses at 9am and vigil at 7pm. Please note there is no 11am Mass on Saturday. Friday next is the first Friday Mass at 8pm. Visitation of the Sick will take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the usual times.

Advent Youth Retreat
In Buncrana for all young people aged 16 and over. The retreat will be held on Wednesday nights for 4 weeks before Christmas from 8-9pm. The opening night will be held in St Mary’s Oratory. We invite all young people 16 + to come and make this short commitment during advent

Golf Club AGM
The 62nd AGM Ballyliffin Golf Club will take place in the golf club on Sunday, December 9 at 6pm. Also the Ballyliffin golf club road will be closed for bridge widening Monday, December 10 – Wednesday, December 12 inclusive. Golf pro shop sale starts December 1.

The club Bord na nÓg AGM will take place tomorrow Thursday, December 6 at 9pm in the clubrooms. The club would appreciate if all coaches and parents would come along and help plan for all underage activities football and hurling for 2008. Please note that the annual Dinner Dance will now take place on Friday, February 1.
Craft fair success
The First Craft Fair held in aid of Malin Parish Community Social Centre in Kathleen and Michael Connolly Foundation was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who supported or helped in anyway and to the Foundation for use of the facilities. It is hoped to make this a yearly event.
