Carol Service

 

A Carol Service by the children of St Mura’s National School will take place in the Parish Church, Fahan on Wednesday, December 5 at 7.30pm. Everyone welcome.

 

Bazaar

 

Burt annual bazaar takes place this Sunday, December 9 in St Mary’s Hall, Burt at 3pm. There will be a wide variety of prizes including household goods, hampers, hams, vouchers, wine and spirits and many more too numerous to mention. There will also be a games session. So come along for some festive fun and bring a friend.

 

Table Quiz

 

The Dessie McDaid Memorial Quiz in aid of the Donegal Hospice will take place this Wednesday December 5 at 9.30pm in the 19th Bar,Bridgend. Your support would be much appreciated.

 

Inch Hall

 

A concert featuring local artistes will be held in Inch Hall on Thursday, December 6 at 8pm.

The Christmas bazaar will be held in the hall on Sunday December 16 at 3pm.

Coffee Morning

 

A coffee morning will be held in the Fowler Hall on Tuesday, December 11 from 9am–12.30pm to raise funds for World Vision’s ongoing work in Kenya, providing healthcare, education and basic needs. All welcome.

 

ICA meeting

 

Grianán of Aileach guild of ICA held their international night in November. A report was given from the federation meeting in St Johnston.

An ICA conference which was held in the Kylemore Hotel, Cavan was attended by one of our members and was discussed at length. The Senior Citizen’s Party was finalised.It is being held on December 14 at 8pm. The meeting concluded with a lovely curry supper served by Ellen Quinn and Pauline Saunders

 

Christmas bingo

 

Annual Christmas Bingo in aid of local charities will be held in the North West Golf Club on four Sundays beginning Deember 2 at 7pm. Everyone welcome.

 

Table Quiz

 

The Annual Table Quiz in aid of St Vincent De Paul will be in Harry’s Bar, Bridgend on Thursday December 13. Everyone welcome.
