Fundraising Draw
Scoil Treasa Naofa, Malin, Parents Committee are holding a Grand Fundraising Draw. 1st Prize €3,000; 2nd Prize €1,000; and 4 prizes of €250. Draw will take place on 24th June 2007.

Fundraising draw
Malin Head Community and Sports Field committee are running a Private Members Draw to raise funds for a new Club House, with a weekly jackpot of €500. The weekly winner of the Jackpot for week ending 3rd June 2007 was Tony (Ned) Doherty, Crossroads, Malin Head holder of prize winning ticket number 31. Congratulations Tony! The committee wish to extend their thanks to the community for their continued support. Next week’s draw will be held in the Farrens’ Bar, Malin Head on Sunday the 10th June at 9p.m.

Weekly whist
Whist continues in Malin Head Community Hall every Monday night, commencing at 8p.m.

Parent & Toddler Group
A chance for Parents and Toddlers to meet up at Playdays Playgroup in Middletown is now available every Wednesday from 10a.m. to 12 noon. Come along and meet other parents and have a cuppa and a chat!

Playdays Playschool, Malin Head continues in The Coffee Shop, Middletown.

Raft Race
Malin Raft Race The annual Malin Raft Race will be held at Malin Bridge on 29th July at 5.30p.m., together with Fun and Frolics, ducks and music on the Village Green. Also major attraction Try a Dip by True North Diving Club. Treasure Hunt on 5th August, from 4p.m. – 7p.m., followed by a Disco in the Malin Hotel.

Blessing of the Graves
Graveyard Sunday The Blessing of the Graves ceremony will take place in Lagg on Sunday 5th August at 3p.m., and in Aughaclay on Sunday 12th August at 3p.m. The community are requested to tidy their graves before these dates.

Parish Draw
The winners of the Parish Draw for week ending 3rd June are: 1. Patsy Doherty, No. 1, Ballysalla, Glengad .: €200. 2. Corney Mc Feeley, Bunagee, Culdaff .: €130. 3. Susie Mc Laughlin, Carrowmore, Malin.: €65.

Winners of the weekly bingo held in St. Patrick’s Hall, Malin were: €130: Mary Jo Mc Clenaghan, Moville. Anne Crumlish, Moville. Anne Mc Laughlin, Ballyhillion, Malin head. €65 : Jim Mc Gonigle, Clonmany. €190 Jimmy Mc Daid, Glengad. The Snowball for next week will be €500 on 46 numbers or €300 on 48 numbers.
